TORONTO, ON, May 6, 2026: The Zoryan Institute features notable and acclaimed artists from various disciplines, including theatre, visual art, dance, film, and music from across the global Armenian diaspora in its upcoming season of the Dispersion podcast. This special season is being released on the occasion of Armenian Heritage Month in Canada this May.

At its core, this season is about exploring how art, in its many forms, can be one of the leading ways of passing on culture, heritage and identity, and a unifying tool and common language for a people who are dispersed across the globe. In conversation with the host of Dispersion, Jen Haddow, who skillfully navigates guests to reflect on the paths that have taken them across different parts of the world, as well as how Armenian motifs and themes are present in their artistic works as part of their identity.

Highlights from this season include an extraordinary lineup of highly accomplished artists: award-winning performance artists Hrant Alianak and Arsinee Khanjian; distinguished visual artists Jackie Kazarian and Shushanik Droshakiryan; acclaimed dancers Carolyn Repkevian and Sevag Avakian; renowned filmmakers Emily Mkrtichian and Hasmik Movsisyan; and celebrated musicians Isabel Bayrakdarian and Mariam Matossian.
