Book Talk with Professor William Schabas: The International Legal Order’s Colour Line

January 17th, 2024: The Zoryan Institute is pleased to promote a book talk with Academic Board Member and GHRUP Faculty Member, Prof. William Schabas, on his latest publication: The International Legal Order’s Colour Line. This event will be happening Friday, January 19th, 2024, in-person at the Campbell Conference Facility, Munk School, Toronto and online via Zoom.
Professor Schabas has authored more than twenty books examining international human rights law. Through the exploration of landmark resolutions, The International Legal Order’s Colour Line examines the development of regulation on racism and racial discrimination in international law.
Meet the Author
William A. Schabas is professor of International Law at Middlesex University in London, emeritus professor at Leiden University and the University of Galway, distinguished visiting faculty at the Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po, and a door tenant at 9 Bedford Row. Professor Schabas is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a member of the Royal Irish Academy.
