In an exclusive interview with the Zoryan Institute, Professor Kathleen Dill discusses the movement of the Maya communities from the highlands of Guatemala during the genocide between 1981-1983.

Professor Kathleen Dill is a sociocultural anthropologist whose primary research focuses on postwar social reconstruction. Her long-term work with the Achi-Maya community of Rabinal, Baja Verapaz, Guatemala has informed her writing on state violence and transitional justice as well as indigenous and human rights.
