Call for Submissions

This blog provides a forum for the publication of original articles that take interdisciplinary and comparative approaches to critically analyze contemporary cases of human rights violations, genocide and other forms of mass violence. Scholar’s Corner invites submissions on a rolling basis. Please consult the guidelines before submitting your article through the online submission form below.

Mission: In keeping with the objectives of the Zoryan Institute and its subsidiary, the International Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies, [insert blog name] is an online platform that aims to provide timely analysis of contemporary and ongoing issues relating to genocide, human rights, crimes against humanity, and related mass atrocities from genocide scholars and practitioners.

Submission Requirements

Submissions should be between 600 and 2000 words long. While Scholar’s Corner publishes pieces of commentary and analysis on a wide range of topics, submissions must fit within the scope of the blog’s mission: to provide timely analysis of contemporary and ongoing issues relating to genocide, human rights, crimes against humanity, and related mass atrocities. Articles should be prepared in MS Word. Text should be double-spaced in 12-point font with 1″ margins. Headings and subheadings should be set off in bold or italic type; otherwise, please keep formatting to a minimum. Upon article acceptance, all authors will be expected to sign a copyright agreement. This will be sent by email by one of the editors. Articles accepted for publication become the property of the Zoryan Institute and may not be published elsewhere, in whole or in part, without written permission.
