For over 23 years, the GHRUP has been hosted at the University of Toronto, offering an unparalleled experience with leading professors and small class sizes, allowing students to have deep engagement, discussion, and mentorship. It’s a legacy we are immensely proud of.
With 75 graduates now serving as full-time professors at universities in 49 countries the GHRUP has helped to shape the next generation of human rights advocates and scholars. This is made possible, in part, by the generosity of alumni and supporters like you.
Each year, 20-25% of our students receive scholarships, breaking down financial barriers to ensure this critical education is accessible to those who need it most.
However, the challenges of the past few years—COVID-19, inflation, and global instability—have significantly depleted our scholarship fund.
Whether it’s $10, $50, or whatever you can give, your contribution will make a real difference in helping a student attend this life-changing program. For students from developing nations, where the cost of attendance is often out of reach, your support is especially critical.
