On August 30-31, 2019, the Zoryan Institute, Armenian government representatives and dignitaries, scholars, family, friends and supporters gathered in Yerevan, Armenia to celebrate the legacy of Zoryan Institute’s Director of Academic Affairs, Professor Vahakn N. Dadrian.
The Zoryan Institute’s President, Mr. K.M. Greg Sarkissian, had the opportunity to speak with Armenia’s H1 News about Prof. Dadrian’s legacy and the tremendous path that he has forged for the academic study of genocide. Dadrian’s scientific approach to the study of genocide was the foundation for many of Zoryan Institute’s academic initiatives, such as its annual Genocide and Human Rights University Program hosted in partnership with the University of Toronto and the groundbreaking publication, The Armenian Genocide: Evidence from the German Foreign Office Archives, 1915-1916, by Wolfgang Gust.
